Located at the heart of the Beverley/Abbotsfield area (3805 118 ave.), the RW.Tegler Youth Centre (TYC) serves as a safe and fun place for youth to hang out, be challenged, and grow as individuals. Consisting of a climbing wall, skatepark, rec area (pool table and video games) and a state of the art Media Arts Centre, the TYC offers many engaging opportunities to try new things and succeed.
We at the Tegler are committed to relationships. A core focus of what we do here is to build supportive relationships with the youth of our community and city as a whole. We believe that Jesus Christ is a life changing force in each or our lives that we want to share with these kids.

Programs/Activities
Climbing wall
The RW Tegler is equipped with a fun and challenging indoor climbing wall. The wall provides the opportunity for the kids and youth of the center to try and succeed at new things. Not only does the wall provide the means to individual success, but also helps to create a team environment as they support one another through the challenge of the wall. Climbing also is a great exercise, the kids are active in a new and fun way, which is of great benefit to their health.

Skateboarding
The Tegler Youth Centre houses Edmontons largest Skateboard park. Weather you are just starting or if you’re a master, you’ll sure have a good time at the Tegler skate park. Check our schedule for times. $3 dollars to skate. Waiver required. Public skate hours here.
Rec Area.
We have a massive rec. area consisting of a pool table, video games, air hockey, skate videos, and carpet ball. This is a casual place to chill out with your friends and meet some new ones. On any given night you can expect loud music, intense gaming and hip hop freestyle sessions! See you soon!
Media arts centre
The Tegler equipped with 3 state for the art iMac’s, and a slick high end video camera, the TMAC (Tegler Media Arts Centre) provides exciting opportunities for youth to create, experiment, and learn. Located on the second floor of the RW. Tegler Centre (3805-118 avenue) The tmac is a place for youth to be challenged and succeed in a creative environment.
