We know first-hand that youth groups constantly search for new and exciting opportunities. Here are a few ways that your group can be involved and support HYMN.
1) Work Project: The year goes by quickly for us, and undoubtably there are things that are left undone. If your group is looking to roll up their sleeves, and get down to some service work, we can give you a place to make that happen. This is a great way for your group to get a feel for the ministry we are doing, and make a very tangible impact within it.
2) Fundraising: Hope Mission is a non-profit organization, we depend on the kind donations of those who believe in what we are doing in order to carry out our ministries. Any donation that we receive will certainly be put to good use, and is a great way to support the ministries that are in place. A fundraising event is a great way to broaden the vision of your youth group, and get them involved in something bigger than themselves, without having to commit a whole lot of time. If you are interested in running a fundraising event of some kind, let us know and we will support your group however we can.
3) Renting out the RW Tegler: If you are looking for a great venue for a youth event, look no further than the RW Tegler Youth Center. With a rental of the building, your group can take advantage of the Skatepark, Games tables, Climbing Wall, Video Games, and meeting space. Specific details of the rental costs can be discussed upon your request. We have a limited number of evenings we can rent the building out, act quick so your group does not miss out!
4) Hosting a TYC Crew concert: We have a group of kids that are pretty hyped about hip hop music, and they are actually pretty good at it. In 2009 our TYC crew held its first ever performance, from that point on we have been committed to giving the kids as much performance experience as possible. If your group is looking for a good time, our TYC Crew will deliver. Your youth group will love it. If you are interested in making a whole event out of it, we have staff that would love to challenge your group with a message.
